Update: August 2009
The Pardee Center for International Futures annex on the University of Denver campus was officially dedicated on August 28th, 2009. The gathering included speeches by the Chancellor of the University of Denver, the Dean of the Korbel School and the director of the Pardee Center. Additional highlights included the use of the Pardee Center's video conference center. Both Fred Pardee and José Solorzano were able to virtually participate in the dedication. Stay tuned for picture updates.
Update: August 2009
The IFs Team is proud to annonce our first International Futures Training Session at the new Pardee Center for International Futures, to be dedicated and made operational in the month of August, 2009. The two day training, occuring on 8-31-09 through 9-1-09, will focus on using the IFs system as a means to solve various policy oriented problems. Please contact Barry Hughes for more information.
Update: July 2009
Barry Hughes and Jonathan Moyer just returned from a successful trip to Brussels where they participated in two projects sponsered by the European Commission. The first project centers on forecasting ICT and the IFs Team is coordinating with the College of Europe as lead researchers. The second project, exploring European consumption patterns out to 2030, is a collaborative effort with Finland Futures Research Centre and INNOVA. There are no pictures, as neither Barry or Jonathan brought a camera.
